Migration: 2 people, 2 places, one world
Patti Weisser and Carlos Alegria
A pop-up show: Tuesday Nov 5 - Sunday Nov 10th
Reception for MIGRATION pop up show on Friday, Nov 8th 6-8pm
Many cultures associate Butterflies as symbols of hope resurrection and our souls. Around the world people view Butterflies as representing, endurance, change, transformation and life.
There is no doubt that as we step into climate change, global change, and life change the Butterfly , the birds, the whales and the boats have significant meaning.
This exhibit began on a migration of my own that has taken me to all parts of the world. Most recently guiding me to Chile and Ecuador where I met Carlos Alegria a painter, a singer and a Mariposa. Affirming that indeed we all migrate and transform, when we stay hopeful and assured that all things change, resurrect, transform and migrate there is also beauty.
I hope you enjoy our painted story and it brings you peace.
