Description: Slow Flow Yoga is a meditative flow that practices slowing down by using a slow steady breath, holding postures, transitioning smoothly, and opening gently and mindfully with the ability to move deeper into one’s body and self. Great for all levels. A limited number of mats and props available for use.
Cost: $12 community/$11 SVA members
***Your first class with Brooke is FREE!***
Description: Restorative yoga is designed to help you find physical, emotional, and mental relaxation. Poses are held anywhere from 2-10 minutes and the use of props
is encouraged to make each pose as comfortable, while as beneficial, as possible. Perfect for beginners, those who are unable to move quickly from pose to pose, and anyone interested in bringing the body, breath, and mind back into alignment during a gentle practice.
Cost: $16 for SVA members, and $18 for non-members. Limited to 10 participants.
Monthly Note from Brooke:
It’s so hard to believe we are moving into our last month of the year. I am so grateful to all of you for showing up to my classes. Thank you.
We’ll have class at SVA tonight (11/26) from 5-6, Wednesday morning from 9-10 in Rupert, and Friday morning from 8-9 in Rupert.
Mid-Dec wraps up my yoga year. My last class of ’19 for SVA will be Tuesday, December 3. It will be a Restorative class from 5-6 pm (only 60 min instead of 90.) My last classes for Rupert will be Wed 11 and Fri 13. We will resume classes at Rupert in January, but I will be in touch again before then.
Any interest in a caregiver/child class (ages ~3-5)? What about a kids class (ages ~6-12)? Let me know what you are looking for in 2020!
We’ll be drawing for the free pass for November soon. I’ll give away one more pass in December, so be sure to put your name in each time you come to a class.
Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving and holiday season. Cheers to 2020! Namaste.
