May 2020 be filled with good, honorable and loving choices by all.
Hello and greetings!
We are going to be starting up again next Wednesday, 11/13, at 1:00 pm, meeting at the Poultney House of Pizza on Main Street in Poultney, VT.
If you haven’t attended our sessions in the past, here is a brief description of what to expect:
Our structure is for the writer to bring a small portion of a play or screenplay (a scene or two, or approximately 10 pages) and be sure there are copies for all the main characters and one for a stage directions reader/narrative in a screenplay in order for each reader in the group to have their own copy to be able to read it aloud. You get to sit back and listen.
Then we talk about it in a kind of roundtable discussion. Everything is always constructive and positive. We like to explore what you’ve written in an encouraging way.
Please bring portions of any plays or screenplays you are working on, as we may have time to look at more than one, depending on how many scripts we are looking at that day.
For those of you who would be new to the group, if this seems like something you’d feel comfortable with and benefit from, we’d love to have you come!
There is a $10 one-time registration fee and each week is $5. You can come to the session and if you’re feeling good about continuing, then you can pay the reg & fee the next time you come. I think it is only fair you “try it out” for free for starters.
So please let me know if you think you’d be coming next Wednesday, 11/13. I can be reached at this email or you can call or text me at (802) 922-8662. I will be sure to email you if anything changes in our meeting time on that day.
Thanks again, and look forward to seeing you there!
