Greetings, SVA Supporter!
SVA's 2019 season was a huge game-changer. Erika Schmidt accepted the role of part-time Executive Director. Thanks to Erika's enthusiastic energy and professional experience, more than 3,000 guests attended SVA events:
• Classes: Painting, Drawing, Dance, Yoga and Fitness
• Performances: Theater, Dance, Music
• Events: Gallery Shows Representing all Media
• Literary Open Mic, Social Awareness Lectures, Author Events
Successful programs such as the Piano Jazz Cafe, art classes for children, and Slow Flow yoga will be coming back. We are also introducing a new collaboration with Theatre In The Woods Co. for theater education programming. Check out our website for a full list of planned programs and events.
Stone Valley Arts at Fox Hill is your community art center. We invite your participation and count on your support!
We are asking again for your financial support. Our goal for this 2020 annual appeal is $25,000 to cover operating expenses:
• Insurance, Utilities, Marketing, Maintenance, and Supplies
• Honorariums for professional performers and instructors
• Generous scholarships to ensure inclusion for all who wish to participate in SVA classes and activities.
• Part-time Executive Director, who oversees the many various programs and events for you to enjoy.
The SVA Board is grateful for the thousands of volunteer hours by community members, which help to keep expenses low.
Your gift to Annual Giving will enable SVA to continue to offer free and low cost arts education, creative programming, and cultural events to diverse and growing audiences.
Thank you for your generosity in supporting the arts.

A recent note from Erika:
As the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic continue to unfold, SVA is taking careful consideration to keep our community safe by suspending all events and activities through April.
We will continue to comply with the Governor’s recommendations for social distancing and will resume public activities once the cautionary measures have been lifted.
In the meantime, we are working diligently to stay organized and prepared for our arts programming to begin as soon as safely possible.
While the start of our 2020 program season is delayed, SVA expenses continue. We need and appreciate your support whenever you feel comfortable making a donation, whether now or in the future when the concerns over coronavirus have lessened.
We will keep you informed of all upcoming opportunities and cultural events through e-mail,
the SVA website, and FaceBook.
We encourage you all to stay creative and hopeful during the weeks and months to come.
Stay well and stay tuned!
